A total of 166 private Pre-University (PU) colleges in Bengaluru have recorded zero admissions in the last three academic years. A district official blamed poor infrastructure and high fees in such colleges for this. He further said, “Bengaluru North (taluka) has seen a surge in government PU colleges where over 1,000-3,000 students have registered.”
