17-year-old boy has been detained in connection with Sunday’s bomb blast at Police Bazar in Shillong and a live improvised explosive device (IED) was seized from his home, Meghalaya Home Minister Lahkmen Rymbui said. Police also arrested his accomplice. The boy claimed to be the area commander of the banned Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council (HNLC) in Shillong.
