Bengaluru police have rescued a 30-year-old civil engineer within 12 hours of his abduction on Friday. The accused allegedly kidnapped the victim in public view from Yelahanka. They had beaten him up and demanded ₹30 lakh for his release, a police officer was quoted as saying by Times of India. Reportedly, the victim knew two of the six accused persons.
