A mild earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale jolted several parts of Bangladesh at 4.12 pm on Friday. According to the Bangladesh Meteorological department, the earthquake had its epicentre 352 km east-south-east of Dhaka near the Myanmar India border region.
