BBMP’s civic body extended the time window for parks in the city by two-and-a-half hours. Now public parks in the city will be accessible from 1.30 p.m. to 8 p.m., instead of 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the second half of the day.
Chief Civic Commissioner Tushar Giri Nath issued an order on Thursday expanding the time window. The order says parks will be accessible from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m., but three-and-a-half hour time window from 10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. will be reserved for park maintenance and during this time the public will not be allowed to access the parks.
