Former Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy criticised the BJP-led government in the state and at the Centre by calling it ‘pro-rich’. “BJP government is looting people’s tax money in the name of development,” said Kumaraswamy. He further stated that if poor people are harassed in the country, then we too might witness a response similar to that of Sri Lanka.
