Booster Doses for Frontline workers, Senior citizens begin today .The booster dose will be given to healthcare and frontline workers, and those over 60 years of age. On December 25, 2021, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the administration of precautionary doses for healthcare and frontline workers from January 10, 2022.
Besides health and frontline workers, those above the age of 60 years who have co-morbidities like diabetes, hypertension and other chronic ailments also have the option of getting the “Precaution Dose” on the advice of their doctor.
