Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde formally took charge of his post at the state secretariat Mantralaya in Mumbai on Thursday. A ‘puja’ was held at the office of the CM before Shinde took charge. On Monday, the Shinde-led state government proved its majority in the Assembly as it surpassed the majority mark of 144.
