Criticising the Central government over the latest hike of Goods and Services Tax (GST) on various essential food items, Congress leader Siddaramaiah said the government is putting more tax burden on people instead of helping them. “Depriving people of their food is ‘Acche Din’ for Narendra Modi-led government,” Siddaramaiah tweeted. He further termed GST as ‘Gabbar Singh Tax’.
