Haryana Assembly on Tuesday passed the Haryana Prevention of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Bill, 2022 amid protest by Congress leaders who staged a walkout. “We’ve passed the Bill, 127 cases were reported in the last four years. Religious conversion is a major problem,” CM Manohar Lal Khattar said. “Forced religious conversion will not be allowed in Haryana at all,” he tweeted.
