External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said on Saturday that one of the key takeaways from UN General Assembly (UNGA) was that “India is perceived very widely as the voice of the Global South”. He added that it’s not “usual” for leaders of countries to mention another country at the UNGA, however, “many spoke for India on a number of occasions”.
