India has reported 2,897 COVID-19 cases, 2,986 recoveries and 54 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. This comes a day after the country saw 2,288 COVID-19 cases and 10 deaths. Active cases in India stand at 19,494, while the death toll has risen to 5,24,157.
