External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar interacted with his New Zealand counterpart Nanaia Mahuta on Thursday and raised the issue of visa delays being faced by Indian students. Some students had to leave New Zealand due to COVID-19 and couldn’t get the opportunity to get their visas renewed. Jaishankar said he urged a fairer and more sympathetic treatment for these students.
