The UK’s former Finance Minister Rishi Sunak on Friday announced that he’s standing to be the next leader of the Conservative Party and UK’s Prime Minister. “Someone has to grip this moment and make the right decisions,” Sunak said. The development comes a day after Boris Johnson resigned after over 50 Members of Parliament resigned in protest at his leadership.
