Minister for Large & Medium Industries Dr Murugesh R Nirani held a meeting with Dr Om Nalamasu, CTO and Board Member, Applied Materials & Ashwini Aggarwal, Director-Government Affairs at the Maydan Technology Centre in the Bay Area, in San Fransisco on Monday evening. Applied Materials’ investment proposal for setting up a manufacturing plant in Karnataka for Rs 1,500 Cr was recently approved by the State High Level Clearance Committee (SHLCC). Addl chief secretary Dr EV Ramana Reddy, Commissioner for Industries Smt. Gunjan Krishna and other officials were present.
