Kalamegham Ramaswamy Iyengar, popularly known as ‘ Melukote Baahubali’ of the cellar, died on Tuesday. Ramaswamy Iyengar, a resident of Pandavapura taluk of Mandya district, has died of complications from old age. He carried water from Pushkarini down below to temple atop a hill, climbing 300 steps nearly 4-5 times a day for decades to worship the his favorite God Yoga Narasimha Swamy .
