Liz Truss officially took over as UK’s new Prime Minister on Tuesday after meeting Queen Elizabeth at Balmoral Castle. Truss, who defeated Indian-origin Rishi Sunak in the UK PM race, is the third woman Prime Minister of the United Kingdom after Margaret Thatcher and Theresa May. Earlier, Boris Johnson tendered his resignation to the Queen at the Balmoral Castle.
