Manipur landslide: Death toll rises to 20, CM N Biren calls ‘worst incident’ in state’s history

Manipur CM N Biren Singh on Friday said that the landslide in Noney was the “worst incident” in the state’s history. This comes as the death toll from the incident rose to 20, according to an Indian Army statement. The CM added that 81 people were lost in the landslide, of which 18 were rescued and 55 are still trapped.
