Pakistan’s Finance Minister Miftah Ismail tweeted on Sunday that he’s verbally resigned from his post in a meeting with the country’s PM Shehbaz Sharif and former PM Nawaz Sharif. Ismail, who’s currently on a foreign trip, said that he will formally resign when he arrives in Pakistan. This comes as the country faces an economic crisis following floods.
