Prime Minister Narendra Modi met a Sikh delegation at his residence in New Delhi . Addressing the delegation, the Prime Minister lauded the role and efforts of the Sikh community in the development of the country. Mr Modi said, the community has played a vital role in strengthening the bond between India and other countries. Modi said, Guru Nanak Dev ji awakened the consciousness of the entire nation and brought the entire nation out of darkness by showing the path of light. Prime Minister said, Sikh tradition is actually a living tradition of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.
