Power Ministry has achieved a remarkable milestone of distributing 50 lakh LED bulbs under the Project One Crore under Gram Ujala Programme. The programme is being implemented through Convergence Energy Services Limited, CSEL and Energy Efficiency Services Limited, EESL in rural households in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Telangana. As part of the Nationwide Vaccination Drive, government has been supporting the States and UTs by providing them COVID vaccines free of cost.
