UK’s ex-Finance Minister Rishi Sunak won the most votes in the second round of voting to succeed Boris Johnson as the leader of the Conservative Party and the Prime Minister of the country. Sunak received 101 votes, followed by Penny Mordaunt with 83 votes and Liz Truss with 64 votes. Notably, Indian-origin Suella Braverman was eliminated from the contest.
