The Russian Defence Ministry Wednesday published a video showing troops withdrawing from Crimea. This came a day after President Vladimir Putin said Russia had decided “to partially pull back troops” from the borders of Ukraine, and the Russian Defence Ministry announced that some forces from military districts were being sent back.
An estimated 130,000 Russian troops are in position on Ukraine’s northern, eastern and southern sides.
