Russia’s flag carrier Aeroflot will resume its flights to the Maldives from May 13, the Maldives Civil Aviation Authority said on Sunday. Aeroflot will operate one daily flight between the two countries, the aviation authority added. The move comes after Aeroflot suspended flights to the Maldives on March 8, following the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February.
