Karnataka High Court on Wednesday directed Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) to immediately set up cells to address grievances of those affected by heavy rains and a flood-like situation in Bengaluru. The cell, which will be set up in each ward, will have an engineer to attend to grievances. BBMP has been directed to expedite state government’s approval for the cells.
