The Railway Board changed the name of the train connecting Bengaluru and Mysuru from Tipu Express to Wodeyar Express. The change in name comes months after Mysuru MP Pratap Simha met Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in February and made the request. The board also renamed the express train between Mysuru and Talaguppe in honour of the poet Kuvempu.
