Vedanta Chairman Anil Agarwal said his company will look at creating a hub to manufacture Apple’s iPhones and TV equipment in Maharashtra. This comes a day after Vedanta announced that it’ll set up semiconductor and display production plants in Gujarat in collaboration with Apple supplier Foxconn. Maharashtra’s plant would be “kind of forward integration for Gujarat’s JV plant”, Agarwal said.
