Indian Grandmaster Viswanathan Anand defeated world number one Magnus Carlsen in seventh round of the blitz event of Norway Chess. Anand finished off at the fourth position with five points in the event. American Grandmaster Wesley So won the blitz event with 6.5 points. Earlier this month, 16-year-old Grandmaster R Praggnanandhaa had defeated Carlsen in an online rapid chess tournament.
